Buddy has been getting closer and closer to being able to crawl.  Last week he finally broke through the "crawl barrier" and, with the aid of some Michael Jordan tongue maneuvering, is now happily crawling around the house.

His favorite trick is to crawl to the bottom of the stairs and pull himself up to the first stair. If he really tries hard he can make it to the second stair but that takes a lot of effort so he doesn't do it too often.

When we took him to the park on Saturday we wanted to show Grandpa Kent and Grandma Connie how well he could crawl. Unfortunately, the cold concrete of the sidewalk isn't nearly as fun to crawl on as the soft carpet so Buddy was apprehensive at first.  Offering up the bribe of a cell phone to suck on did the trick and soon Buddy was crawling down the sidewalk towards his prize to the delight of his grandparents. Soon he'll be walking -- how quick they grow up!
