Wednesday morning began bright and early with a walk/jog along Bowen Road. We put Buddy in the baby carrier and discovered quickly that Kent was the best at using the carrier. The fact that Kent was in better shape than the rest of us, that he didn't have a big belly to bounce Buddy on, and that he and Buddy seemed to get along fairly well together meant Kent became Buddy's preferred mode of transportation for the rest of the trip.

Bowen Road started out as a road but ended up more like a scenic trail as it narrowed to the point where cars could no longer pass. A wonderful assorment of people, Chinese and non-Chinese alike, use the road for jogging, walking, tai-chi, incense burning, and people watching.
